Therapy sessions last 53-60 minutes.

I understand that life can be unpredictable. However, to maintain consistency and honor the time set aside for your counseling session—I require 24-hour notice for all cancellations.

You can cancel an appointment by connecting with me through text-message, email, patient portal message, or phone call.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a $100 late cancellation fee.

No, I currently offer therapy sessions through telehealth—via secure video appointments.

To receive online therapy sessions, you must be physically located within the state of Michigan during the time of your appointment.

If you frequently travel or attend school out of state, please feel free to contact me to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements for online counseling in Michigan. I am happy to help you determine whether virtual mental health services are an option for you.

I am currently working with clients aged 18 and older for individual counseling services.

No, I currently provide individual therapy only. I do not offer couples or family counseling at this time.

I will attempt to verify your insurance benefits after receiving your completed intake paperwork. However, I strongly encourage you to contact your insurance provider and verify your mental health coverage before our first therapy appointment.

Ultimately, it is your responsibility to understand your insurance benefits for therapy sessions. I will not know exactly what your insurance will cover until I file the first claim after your intake session.
