If you don’t see your exact reason for seeking therapy listed here, you’re still welcome to reach out and see if we’d be a good fit for online therapy.
What to Expect in Online Therapy Sessions
You'll receive a secure, HIPAA-compliant video link via email, or text-message, before each appointment.
Sessions can be accessed using your computer, smartphone, or tablet.
You must be physically located in Michigan at the time of your session. If you're traveling out of state, we'll need to reschedule.
It is flexible and quiet, with no commute.
Appointments typically last 53–60 minutes.
If we get disconnected due to a tech issue, I’ll reach out by text or phone to reconnect or troubleshoot.
Small Tips That Help Telehealth Feel More Comfortable
Find a private, comfy spot where you can talk without interruptions. Your home office, car, or a quiet corner works just fine.
Make sure your phone, tablet, or laptop is charged (or keep your charger nearby, just in case).
Play around with the lighting to see what feels best. Natural light or a warm lamp can help create a calming vibe.
Headphones can be a game changer. They can help block out distractions and make things feel a little more focused and personal.
Since you're at home, bring what you need to feel good. Bring water, a blanket, tissues, tea, or anything else that helps you feel comfortable.
If anything tech-wise feels off during the session, like weird audio or video glitches, feel free to let me know! We’ll troubleshoot it together!
